Tortoise and the hare

During these days of Coronavirus isolation, we can never take for granted those beautiful, intelligent and healthy athletic children we have to work with. So...what separates them from each other!? As talented as they may be, it's their work-ethic that makes the difference. We can never forget the Tortoise & The Hare fable. You may read the story to your junior squash-player, or have them read it on their own. As the story goes:

It concerns a Hare who ridicules a slow-moving Tortoise. Tired of the Hare's arrogant behavior, the Tortoise challenges the Hare to a race. The Hare soon leaves the tortoise behind. However,  confident of winning, the Hare takes a nap midway through the race. When the Hare awakes however, he finds that his Tortoise competitor crawling slowly but steadily, has arrived at the finish-before him.

Let's not have your junior squash-player take a nap midway through their junior (squash) journey! Have them take a lesson from the Tortoise...and cross the (squash) finish-line first!
