Squash Fitness

Until the club's squash-courts open-up again, your junior squash-player will have to make-do with working on their fitness at home and/or out-of-doors.

That's okay, as there are many things they can accomplish while doing that.
To be sure, (it takes some personal/self-discipline), doing endurance runs and sprinting...is/would be most important and effective. There are many important qualities that can contribute to a junior-athlete’s achievements and happiness, but there is only one that begets sustainable, long-term success in all aspects of life: personal/self discipline! Whether in terms of their diet, fitness, work-ethic or relationships, self-discipline is the number one trait needed to accomplish goals, lead a healthy life-style and ultimately be happy. Despite what many may think, self discipline is a learned behavior. It requires practice and repetition in their day-to-day life.

To improve their personal/self discipline, have them take control by making simple changes to their everyday fitness routines. Improved personal/self-discipline will allow them to live a more disciplined life by making healthy, intellectual and physical choices...not emotional ones.
